  • SIM cards: At the pier or in 7-Eleven stores, you can buy AIS or TrueMove SIM cards with 4G/5G. Internet coverage is excellent on almost the entire island.
  • Best travel time: December–April: Dry & sunny 🌞 May–October: Some rain, but quieter & cheaper 💧
  • Motorbike rental: The best and most affordable option (approx. 150–300 THB/day).
  • Tip: Always wear a helmet, take photos of the scooter (scratches!), and drive carefully, especially when it rains – some roads are steep.
